Happy New Year! Presenting Rollo and Snickers!

We have the most exciting news ever!

Presenting Rollo (black overo) and Snickers (buckskin)

It was brought to our attention on Christmas Eve that these two beautiful Mustang geldings were facing a very uncertain future at an Oklahoma auction house.

Rollo and Snickers are bonded... we will explain that more in a future post. But suffice it to say that Rollo and Snickers are absolute best buddies. To separate them after everything they have been through would be just heartbreaking for them.

Nimchuk Equine Foundation stepped up to rescue these two horses. Jennie at RJF Equine has kindly agreed to board them at her beautiful 88-acre Oklahoma ranch.

Rollo and Snickers will get the things they need the most: space to run, and to be best buddies together. They will also be able to kick up their heels as part of a herd of other horses at the ranch.

Thank you Jennie for all your kind help, and thank you friends for your generous donations which helped make this New Year's miracle happen for Rollo and Snickers.

Like so many wild horses, Rollo and Snickers got a raw deal...they were rounded up by the BLM, separated from their families, and dumped at auction by their owner.

Now, however, we are thrilled to report that they have a bright and promising future together. We will be posting more photos and videos of the happy duo in the weeks to come!
